Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to drive business development and sales in infrastructure engineering services, with a focus on data centers, renewable energy, industrial facilities, and complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in selling engineering solutions, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for engineering services in data centers, renewable energy, and infrastructure projects.
· Identify and engage with potential clients, including developers, investors, and key stakeholders in the infrastructure sector.
· Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing.
· Work closely with engineering teams to ensure client requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.
· Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
· Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and business growth.
· Stay up to date with market trends, regulations, and industry advancements to position PGI Engineering as a market leader.
· Represent PGI Engineering at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the company’s presence.
· Track and report on sales performance, pipeline development, and revenue targets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within engineering, infrastructure, energy, or mission-critical sectors.
· Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, data centers, renewable energy projects, and industrial infrastructure.
· Proven track record in selling engineering services and managing high-value projects.
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
· Well-established network within the infrastructure, energy, and data center sectors in Portugal and internationally.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
· Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
